Hello everyone!

Today, Sir told us to make our own template same as the template used by Testing and Consultancy Cell. So i searched for a software to make own template and I go through some youtube videos to how to make own template. I figured out Librecad in which i can create my template so i was successful in creating my template. Then in freecad i create the drawings and i also added text from default text command in techdraw workbench.

Mainly problems are discussed and solutions are given by the another students or Dr.H.S.Rai sir. Today, some CSE students delievered the seminar on   Eduroam and approach to octave and my fellow trainee any discussed his problems.

Today i took help from CSE student that how to create drawing in Tech-draw after that i created plan , elevation and sections of trap after doing compounds of all material but there was problem in section ie the object that are cutting in sections is appeared very light so after that we took a printout of our drawings and we consulted Dr. H.S. Rai to know our mistakes so firstly sir told us there is a mistake , the way you used a spreadsheet is not the write way of making parametric modelling basically in spreadsheet we only to give independent dimension while other dimension should be dependent on values in spreadsheet.

Today,I created my last element in trap i.e, small square glass in sketcher workbench in freecad. I created two squares in sketcher and then i used cut command from part workbench. But it was slanting and we want straight in drawings and i copied and moved it and i was successful in this. Then I created circle in back side of trap by using sketcher workbench and also created pipe and i gave its height accordingly.

Today we created front bottom part of Honey bee trap in sketcher workbench in freecad and faced some issues in constraints and after that we created two L shaped elements on each side only one square part was left rest all things were done.

Yesterday,We were facing the problem in creating the glass portion of honey bee trap. So, I was going through part workbench and i came across loft command. So to have better knowledge about this command, I go through documentation where i learned how to use this command and then i used this loft command in my project and I was successful in making my glass portion of honey bee trap.

We continued to do our project of Honey bee trap in freecad. So, firstly we created top cover by giving the dimensions from spreadsheet and then we created handle of top cover by using spreadsheet. then we created front cover and its two handles by using the dimensions given in spreadsheet. So, our next step was to create the glass part of the trap, we faced many problems regarding that as that glass was inclined but what we created was not according to our requirement. We tried many methods to create that glass part but we failed.

Today we discussed our problem with our co trainer and sir that we are facing some issue in cutting the sides so sir gave us solution to use Part workbench , there is an option of cut so we used that and able to cut the sides and than we created other component of trap we again used sketcher workbench and we faced problem in giving constraints to solve that problem we consulted our seniors they suggested us about using symmetry about y-axis and x-axis and our problem was solved.
